Shoot the messenger!

It's classic politics: when you don't like the message, you shoot the messenger. Newsflash, Mayor Corrigan: the poll wasn't calling BC Liberal supporters, it was calling a random sample of your Burnaby constituents. Almost three-quarters of them disagree with you on Gateway.

You can dismiss us--but you shouldn't dismiss them!

So much of a poll's veracity depends on how the questions are phrased. Your online poll, for example, is disingenuous and manipulative.

You can read the poll questions for themselves at http://www.getmovingbc.com//NRG%20Report%20September%202007.pdf.

Seems straight forward to me.

The fact is that people aren't being told the truth about the Gtaeway projects....The government spent over $50 million on the SFPR advertising...(to give you an idea Coke spent $300,000 per U.S. State last year), The Public comment periods, and open houses were a pitiful sham and the E.A. was full of misrepresentation, contradiction and errors.
Your website is an extention of that political arm, as yourself and your compatriots are BC Liberals that are toeing the party line....and in your party that is all you are allowed to do.

Some of the questions weren't composed for an alternative answer, but were set for a single directed answer.

As for not calling BC Liberal supporters, true, but GetMoving BC
is largely run by supporters of the BC Liberals, including one who
was a paid flak before he got dumped.
