Introducing Carl Congestion

Whew.

Sorry for the lack of posts around here this month, but it has been incredibly busy. Who knew July could be this much work?

Anyway, I'll be posting around here as stories catch my eye, but I wanted to introduce a new blogger as well.

Carl Congestion (not his real name--well, duh) is a regular commuter and transportation nut who has been sending Get Moving BC regular emails about life on the Lower Mainland highways. He is insightful, thoughtful, and well-researched. And he believes in the same thing we do: balance and common sense solutions, where both the road and transit networks are upgraded at the same time. (He is also a huge proponent of the Evergreen Line, I should add.) Instead of continually quoting his emails, we have invited him to be a regular contributor here on the blog. He agreed, but only on the condition of anonymity, as he values his privacy.

So when you read posts here, double-check who authored them before commenting.

Welcome, Carl!
