Why I can't take transit
The Tri-City News has a letter from PoCo commuter Chris Hale on why he can't take transit:Eighty-five per cent of commuters don't go downtown, where the focus of our transit system is. For me, a 30-minute commute by car takes two hours and 30 minutes using transit. My transfer expires part-way through, so it now costs more than what I would spend on fuel. As well, I don't have five hours a day to spend commuting.
